Viren Mascarenhas will be attending the 8th ICC Conference on International Arbitration that will take place in Delhi, India on February 28, 2026 and moderating a panel titled an “Oxford-style debate: Two steps forward, one step sideways: Can India’s arbitration modernization co-exist with the continuing uncertainty under the BCI rules?”.
Viren Mascarenhas was born and raised in India. He subsequently completed his higher education and legal studies in the United States and England. He frequently works with Indian clients and law firms on U.S. litigation and arbitration matters with a U.S. nexus.
Viren Mascarenhas is the Founding Partner of Mascarenhas Law PLLC, a disputes boutique headquartered in New York. The firm specializes in arbitration (construction, commercial, and investment disputes) as well as U.S. litigation, especially in cross-border disputes and relating to enforcement of foreign awards and judgments. Members of the firm also serve as arbitrators.
