Viren Mascarenhas founded Mascarenhas Law to provide focused, partner-level attention to our clients and their mandates. We specialize in domestic and international arbitration, transnational litigation in U.S. courts arising from cross-border disputes, and public international law. Members of the firm also serve as arbitrators and mediators.
Viren Mascarenhas has over two decades of experience representing clients in U.S. domestic and cross-border disputes. He is ranked and recognized by the leading directories, including Chambers Global, Chambers USA, Legal500, and Who’s Who Legal, as well as the American Bar Association, the New York Law Journal, and Law360.
Viren developed his disputes expertise in BIGLAW, where he served as a partner for nearly a decade in the litigation and arbitration practices at King & Spalding LLP and Milbank LLP and practiced as an associate at Freshfields LLP. He also clerked for H.E. Rosalyn Higgins, President of the International Court of Justice in The Hague and served as a Legal Officer at the Special Court for Sierra Leone, a war crimes tribunal.
